PHILOSOPHY: St. Cecilia Preschool will strive to foster the wholeness of the individual child. Our goal is to have a safe and loving atmosphere where a child can explore and discover through interaction with his/her environment. Opportunities will be provided to use and share existing skills and learn new skills which will help the child establish positive self-esteem.
AGE REQUIREMENT: Your child must be 3 years old by September 30 of the year in which they are enrolling.
STAFF: St. Cecilia Preschool's lead teachers are qualified Early Childhood Educators with degrees in areas of Child Development and Education and Pre-Kindergarten Certification, as well as practical experience working with young children. Assistant teachers are chosen for their experience working with young children. The staff is committed to professional development. All staff attend 13 hours of training on a yearly basis to meet Step Up to Quality requirements. The preschool was awarded a Gold Step Up To Quality rating.
STAFF/CHILD RATIOS: The staff/child ratios at St. Cecilia Preschool meet the Ohio Department of Education Standards. They are as follows:

*St. Cecilia Preschool is licensed through The Early Childhood Program, Department of Children and Youth. A copy of the license will be on display in each classroom. Licensing information is available for parent review upon request.
