St Cecilia Catholic School, founded in 1959, is a preschool through eighth grade Catholic school on the west side of Columbus, Ohio. We are a
culturally diverse school deeply rooted in the Columbus community. St. Cecilia School was the first Catholic School in the Columbus Diocese to receive OCSAA accreditation.
Students at St. Cecilia learn in a caring risk-free environment where they are empowered to be independent critical thinkers who strive to make positive differences in their community. Our students are problem solvers who apply what they are learning to real world situations.
Students develop as caring and responsible citizens by learning and practicing the Catholic faith by attending Mass weekly, daily religion class, receiving the sacraments, and taking part in prayer services. By working closely with our parish, St. Cecilia School promotes life-long learning of our Catholic faith and an ongoing relationship with God.
At St. Cecilia, academic excellence is achieved by recognizing diverse educational needs and celebrating those differences with strong educational practices. St. Cecilia offers a 21st century education by using iPads, computers and interactive T.V.’s to learn and feel comfortable utilizing the technology in today’s world. At our school, students also have the opportunity to participate in plays, choir, music, art and athletics.
